Type S Contactors and Starters auxiliary contact can be field installed on the side of Type S NEMA magnetic contactors and starters. This contact is normally used in the control circuit of these contactors or starters. This auxiliary contact has 1 NO contact and has a 6 A inductive break rating at 120 VAC, a 720 VA inductive break rating from over 120 to 600 VAC and a continuous current rating of 10 A.
